Welcome to the project website for CALA Homes’ proposals for a new community at Barton Farm, Winchester.
CALA is planning a highly sustainable, low carbon development on land it owns to the north of the city of Winchester. The Company’s proposals are for around 2,000 new homes incorporating a full range of dwelling sizes and affordable housing, with supporting infrastructure and associated community facilities to help meet Winchester’s housing needs.
Following public and stakeholder consultation earlier this year in the draft masterplan for Barton Farm, CALA Homes has revised its proposals in response to the views and comments made.
Leading international architects and urban designers John Thompson and Partners have been appointed to create a bold and exciting new scheme for which a planning application has now been submitted.
