Public Consultation
We have been working on proposals for a sustainable urban extension at Barton Farm, North Winchester for many years and, during that time have spoken to many local people and representatives from stakeholder groups about how the site could be developed to help meet future housing needs in the area.
We held public exhibitions, a stakeholder workshop and a focus group earlier this year, which helped better understand the requirements of people living and working in Winchester. Full details of the consultation and the comments received can be viewed in the Interim Public Consultation Statement. We also held stakeholder workshops with John Thompson & Partners in July and September 2009.
In order to provide everyone interested in the proposed Barton Farm development an opportunity to view the new masterplan, we held two days of public exhibitions in Winchester as follows:
| 12pm - 7pm | Thursday, 15 October 2009 | Wintonian Room, The Guildhall, Winchester |
| 11am - 3pm | Saturday, 17 October 2009 | Drama Studio, Henry Beaufort School, East Woodhay Road, Harestock, Winchester SO22 6JJ |
